Convertible dU & dC (O4 Triazolyl dU) monomer can be used to introduce a variety of modifications at the convertible position, including N, O and S modifications.
The triazolyl pyrimidine convertible nucleosides allow oligonucleotides to be produced containing: 4-thio derivatives for cross linking reactions; 4-amino derivatives for DNA structural research; O4-alkyl derivatives for carcinogenesis studies; and offer the potential for the introduction of 13C, 15N and 17O labels for NMR experiments.
